From the Chair

Welcome to the 42nd year of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society for  the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE). As the  only technical society encompassing all fields of endeavor in materials  and processes, SAMPE provides a valuable forum for scientists, engineers  and academics.  SAMPE’s strength can be found in its vital core of  local chapters, each with its own unique heritage and program offerings.

The centerpiece of the NJ SAMPE program is our monthly dinner  meeting, held at the Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater, NJ.  This event  features a wine-tasting social, followed by a full-course dinner and a  contemporary presentation from industry peers.  We encourage you to  participate and network, either for business opportunities, recruitment  or keeping up with industry trends, especially in the NJ/NY/CT/PA  region.

Other benefits of NJ SAMPE include:

  • Promotional coverage of your company's product announcements, business activities and people
  • Opportunities to contribute to programs for international SAMPE conferences and trade shows
  • Educational support for our NYU Tandon School of Engineering student chapter, as well as regional student STEM outreach
  • Field trips to local companies active in our industry
  • Invitation to our Annual Golf Outing & Dinner

We invite you to discover our site and join our 60+ membership community.

Sincerely,

Russ Caspe
